Serpentines

Serpentines are an entirely separate species of Chimeric humanoid, being entirely based off of serpentine figures, from snakes and worms to even sea serpents. These chimerics all have their own individual ways of being formed, and all resemble different serpents from common folklore. These can be found listed below.

Nagas, more commonly referred to as Lamias, are the most common species of Serpentine. These are defined as being a chimeric humanoid with the upper body and torso of a human, and the lower body of a snake. They may also share other biological features with snakes, such as scaled skin, elliptical pupils and injective fangs.

Gorgons are the second most common species of Serpentine, being much like their folklore counterparts. Gorgons in Quiazal can't turn people to stone when they look at them, however commonly have a proficiency in earth magics. Their hair is still made entirely of snakes, and they possess the ability to shapeshift their body into these snakes for faster, easier movement. Upon turning back to their humanoid selves, the snakes will return to their head.

Just like all other types of snake, and basic reptile as a whole, serpentines are born through an egging and laying process.
