Ketu are spiritual and supernatural influencers of karmic collections. Despite their monstrous appearance, the Ketu’s purpose is to assist those it comes across in achieving great heights and goals, be it through spiritual or literal means. Many people like to keep them around when they’re running the holy trials to become an Exalted.

Because of their appearance, many people who see them for the first time often mistake them for shapeshifting demons of nightmares, or physical sleep paralysis demons, often not allowing them a chance to greet themselves. Most Ketu are perfectly polite and respectable creatures merely wishing to help people refine themselves into better people, though some can be much more pushy with it than others, often spending a lot of their time attached to a person until that person reaches their goals and desires.

For every person they assist, the Ketu grows a tentacle out of the mouth on their stomach, and for every person who wrongs them, they grow an arm which they use to decapitate them, before devouring them. While being polite and respectable, Ketu don’t appreciate having their work being twisted and manipulated for other uses.
