ABOUT THIS STYLE GUIDE

The purpose of this document is not to cover the basics of Brazilian Portuguese grammar, nor reinvent it. As a linguist and native speaker, you are expected to know these rules, how to apply them, and when to bend them.

This style guide aims to serve as a quick and easy reference document for vendors, translators, proofreaders and LQA professionals, in order to assure a correct and standardized use of Brazilian Portuguese across our games.

In addition, this guide contains helpful tips for translators, notices on common issues we have encountered during proofreading, and the major challenges of translating from games designed in Chinese.

We sincerely hope this guide can help you work faster and more accurately.
