I have been thinking about producing a page with a list of bad ideas and decisions with the intended outcomes and problems they were supposed to address and an explanation on why they failed. This is done with the intent that maybe there is a way to leveraging the knowledge of why some ideas result in failures into saved time and better making. The title is a multilayered funny. On the surface it is joking on how something dangerous was overlooked and caused someone's death and no one anticipated the danger. The "why did I die" is a mnemonic device for the letter Y in Morse code. For this page, it is for why did this not work, why did I think this would work, why did I waste the time, and why this part or idea wasn't used. Man, it is almost like Cypher Bill was here.
Pretty much 90% of the crap I tried to program was garbage.

I believe that these issues boil down to needing to make the ideas:
recyclable,
with precision and accuracy-- set to high and true (every time),
purpose driven,
own-able,
modular,
and that contain good functions to reduce redundancy, bloat, complexity, and length.

*Note: I am not against VM's, I feel that they inhibit the learning experience by making the process less immersive.
