This compulsory pre-trip training session is designed to prepare and equip church members who are going or planning to go on mission trips.  The course will give a better understanding of what is involved in cross-cultural mission trips.

This 4-day silent retreat invites you to come away to experience different ways of spending time with God. You will be introduced and guided daily through simple ways of praying and listening to God  in an unhurried manner. Personal space for rest, silence and solitude will be observed.  This  retreat will benefit those who desire to learn more about prayer or grow in their prayer life, or who need to find rest for their tired and weary souls. 

A spiritual companion will be available to prayerfully support and guide you through this prayer retreat.

Silver Boxes is organising CAMP GROWING CLOSER 2023, especially for our children in P2 to P6, to help them learn ways we can grow deeper in our relationship with God. 

The need to GROW CLOSER to our Lord Jesus Christ can never be over-emphasised. It is an urgent need. It is a need that must be accompanied by intense fasting and praying. Praying and fasting help us to focus our attention solely on God to seek His excellent will and discover His exemplary passion for our life. 

CAMP GROWING CLOSER seeks to inspire every Camper to fast, pray and incline their faith to pursue spiritual strength and power available to them as God’s children. CAMP GROWING CLOSER aims to build each child to have a strong and positive relationship with God and resist temptation to divert their attention to other worldly concerns. 

Join us, together with everyone's favourite Pastor, REVEREND NICHOLAS CHOO, for an amazing time of learning, through various interactive and fun-filled activities, games and much more! 

This Camp has a limit to the number of participants, and registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Due to the nature of how the lessons are taught, it is highly encouraged that your child/ward be able to participate in all 3 days of the camp. 

We will be taking precautionary measures to safeguard the well-being of all our children and leaders. All necessary protective measures and safety precautions will be undertaken on-site, throughout the course of the camp.

Christians must engage in wise Scriptural interpretation and application, to work out faithful, relevant lives. Learn Bible genres and interpretative rules, with hands-on practice on different biblical texts.

The main subject of this course is the interpretation and application of Scripture. The course aims to help you reflect seriously on what is involved in interpreting the biblical text. During the course, several necessary aspects of biblical interpretation (e.g., word studies, the relevance of the historical context) will be considered.
