Our Corporate Prayer Meeting next month will be on Ash Wednesday 14 Feb, 8pm in the Sanctuary. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent and we will observe the Imposition of Ashes during the prayer meeting.

1.1 Pray for BL good health and God’s protection as they continue to minister to the different communities.

1.1 Pray for Dan & Esther:
- strength to strength for language learning;
- courage to be a witness for Jesus across cultural barriers; and,
- for the Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts of those they have been connecting with.
PARACHURCH WORKERS
1. Wycliffe Singapore: Grace Tan
1.1 Grace’s brother-in-law’s was in Singapore and was able to help make decisions for his aging parents. Pray that if and when he will need to relocate back to Singapore, it will be in God’s perfect time.
1.2 Pray for complete healing and good health for Grace’s sister, Jacinta. Pray for wisdom and favour as Jacinta develops her new venture. Pray for Jacinta’s son to be able to find the correct university that has a good programme for AI studies.
2. Navigators Singapore: Roger Yeo & Pearlyn Pang
2.1 Pray for J1, J2, M, QG, E, J3, I, A, S1 and S2, that the light of Christ would shine into their hearts and that they give their lives to Jesus – 2 Thessalonians 3:1.
2.2 Pray that Roger and Pearlyn would be resourced by the Lord for the events that God wants them to carry out in 2024 especially an event that is happening on 6 – 7 April 2024.
2.3 Pray for Roger, Pearlyn, Kevin, Johan, Kristine, Joel Loh and Joel Tio to grow in faith, hope and love even as they labour together for the gospel; embracing fully the grace that have come for our sakes – Col 1:3-6.
3. YWAM Singapore: Nicole Lim
3.1 Pray for Nicole as she seeks for an open door that shares the same God-given vision for the community as her.
3.2 Pray for Nicole wisdom as she goes through Discovery Bible Studies and Discipleship Making Movement training.
3.3 Pray for ministry effectiveness in Geylang’s streets and within the workers themselves – that they can embrace cultural differences.
4. WEC Singapore: Angel Tan
4.1. Pray for God’s leading and wisdom on the next semester in school. Pray for good health and for son, Ab, to continue to wean and eat solid food better.
4.2. Pray for greater collaboration within WI and partnerships for the creation of resources to cultivate interest in cross-cultural missions in children and youth.
MISSIONS PARTNERS
1. East Asia: TK
1.1 Praise God for the 6 students who received salvation during the holidays. Pray for more new campus team members to join the ministry work of reaching out to the students in the campuses this year. Pray for their preparation and approval of visa application.
1.2 Pray for all of TK and family’s needs – spiritually, financially and physically.
2. East Asia: Songs
2.1 Pray for smooth and safe travels for the TAN workers as they travel from the field to the conference site to attend Workers Conference from January 30 to February 1. Pray for each family/unit to be refreshed and revitalized, and for a spirit-filled and spirit-led conference.
2.2 Pray for the Songs wisdom in all that they do.
3. East Asia: Mongolia Living Faith Church
3.1 Please pray for church growth in quality and quantity.
3.2 Please pray for God's protection and good health over our family members.
3.3 Please pray for the monthly mission trips to Umnudelger and Nalaikh. Please pray that church members and leaders can be encouraged by the visits.
4. South Asia: GEMS
4.1 Pray for various NGOs like GEMS that strives in the transformation of the society through various social projects.
4.2 Pray for the Indian Evangelical Churches (IEC) that is transcending boundaries in reaching the unreached and planting churches.
4.3 Pray for St. Paul’s School for its various efforts in producing leaders of equality and justice.
5. South Asia: CCI Bangladesh
5.1 Pray for the CCI tentmakers program as they equip themselves for the field.
5.2 Pray that new believers will stand firm in faith and to serve the Lord faithfully amid persecution.
6. Central Asia: C&M
6.1 Pray for good time of rest and a refreshing time as C&M spend some time at the HQ of their Missions Organisation in USA. Pray that they receive personal healing during times of ministry and be encouraged as they speak at churches.
6.2 Pray for God’s provision for C&M’s children’s education needs. Pray for their spiritual, emotional and physical growth.
6.3 Pray for the team, that they will continue to grow in the Lord healthily.

Director, Corporate Communications
Job Scope
Reporting to the Pastor-In-Charge (PIC), the Director, Corporate Communications, strategises and manages all Corporate Communications and Branding for the church in consultation with the various ministry heads and stakeholders to communicate, promote and publicise the Calling and Direction for PLMC.
Key Responsibilities
Strategise and manage all forms of media – print, online, mobile, social media – to clearly and accurately communicate, promote and publicise the events and activities of the various ministries, and the corporate messaging from the PIC and leaders
Ensure that all communications are in line with the DNA, calling and direction of the church
Uphold and enhance the corporate image and reputation of the church, particularly in the area of brand integrity
Manage the day-to-day running of the Communications Ministry including the budgeting, administration and record keeping
In charge of editing, layouting, collating and producing various church publications, both in hard and soft copies
Mentor and minister to the staff members of the Communications team
Assist and advise the various ministries on their individual communications strategies
Collaborate with the Audio, Video, IT & Digital Media (AVID) Ministry to produce publicity and testimony videos for edification and exhortation of the congregation
Work with co-workers on various Communications fronts (eg photography, archives, social media etc)
Undertake other duties as assigned by Pastor-In-Charge
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in mass communication, digital media, multimedia or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate communications or marketing
• At least 3 years’ experience in managing a team
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English
• Strong leadership skills and excellent stakeholder management abilities
• Good strategic and critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
• Creative and resourceful, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Organised, meticulous and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Must be able to work on Sundays

PROGRAMME STAFF, HOPE STUDENT CARE CENTRE (PART TIME)
BASIC ROLE
The Programme staff supports the Superintendent in the development of programs for students. She/He will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Student Care Centre, which includes but not limited to the following:
Implement and executes programs for the students
Supervise and guide the children (Primary 1 to 6) in their study to ensure completion of daily homework
Guide students in creating good habits in their daily lives

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and provide guidance to the students in their studies.

Plans, prepare, and execute programs with the Staff to enhance the total development of the students.
Assist with administrative duties (Enrolment, collection of forms) and upkeep of centre premises.
Ensure safety and timely transfer of students from school to student centre.
Preparation of progress reports for each student.
Participates and support in the Centre’s programmes. (In-house, Outdoor and Outreach)
Performs all other related duties described herein or such other duties as shall be assigned by the Superintendent from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Minimum “O” Level or higher with tutoring experience with Primary school students is advantageous
Able to teach Primary School Subjects
Passionate about working with children
Possess good communication and classroom management skills
Creative and loving energy with a positive disposition
Computer Skills – Microsoft Office and Google Suite
