ABOUT

Nathan Bender is a young hacker with a punk attitude.

His appearance is of no notable elements save for a mole under his left eye at first glance. On closer inspection, his anti-conformism seeps through: his worn out sweater hides a myriad of futuristic tattoos that peaks at his neck in the shape of an hexagon.

He hides a black synthetic overall underneath his regular outfit and always carries his blue and white messenger bag around, hiding [JAKE] with him everywhere he goes.

He speaks in a very passive agressive and tired voice, is very quick to react -which can be both a blessing and a curse- and his confidence can sometimes come off as arrogance.

Despite all his flaws, Nathan also has redeeming qualities: he is dedicated to the cause and would go to the end of the world for his friends. He’s smart and learns extremely quickly, which allows him to analyse situations and problems easily.

He is the leader of the hacker group [Ex_Agone].

BACKGROUND

Childhood

Nathan was born on Oct. 27th 2065 from an cyber engineer father and a nurse mother. He was followed suit by his little sister [SHERYL], a year and a half later.

Growing up, he never felt the impact of the economical crisis going on in Maycity, thanks to his parents’ situations. Neither rich nor poor, he lived in a comfortable home with his family, hanging often with his father, who he was very close to, and his precious sister.

However, tragedy hit them violently as his godfather [JAKE] was suddenly declared missing on — — 2074 and [WILLIAM BENDER] hurriedly put together belongings in his son’s hands before he disappeared in February 2074, later declared dead by the police.

Nathan was then 9 years old.

Teenagehood

After his father and godfather’s disappearances and sketchy death certificates, Nathan was all the more motivated to unveil the truth while his mother seemed to sink into despair and gave up, claiming that she needed to foccus on him and Sheryl to move on. The same week, Digitek gave a press conference announcing their dismantling and thus the lawsuits were cancelled and classified as cold cases.

Nathan, now 15, realised that his mother hadn’t given up out of resignation but more so out of despair. He became all the more motivated to fight Digitek, now [Data Security], and demanded his father’s belongings to be returned to him, as his rightful legacy.

Thinking no more of it, his father’s work boxes that were locked away safely in Digitek’s old headquarters were returned, giving Nathan the key to achieving [JAKE] and expose Digitek and their leader [MARCO ANATIA KALEO].
