Commissioned by [Data Security], the Twins are a project in collaboration between [Pharmatek] and [UMF] to conduct experimentations in human enhancements.
Initially tests to create exo-squeletons and implants to reinforce the soldiers’ strength and abilities, [Data Security] proposed to add additional funds into the creation of human specimens who would be monitored from the start, ruling out the issues of enhancing grown ups who were sometimes uncooperative or incompatible.
Thus began the experiments on dosage to create the specimens, and after trials and errors, decided their development would require in vitro conception, ectogenesis to monitor the entire growth of the specimen, and regular tests to accommodate them to various enhancements.
Out of ten embryos, only four survived long enough to pass the first quarter of ectogenesis, and surprisingly one of them began to turn into twins. The remaining three embryos didn’t survive and thus remained the last children: [ANDREW] and [PHOEBE].
While one seemed more resilient in physical shape (Andrew), the other proved to be more receptive to mental stimulus (Phoebe) and the team decided to attribute the two children to different programs.
The [UMF] would be in charge of Andrew’s experiments and tests, recruiting him in the [OPSY Squad], while Phoebe would remain at [Pharmatek] to test the limits of [Implants] technology.
Later experiments showcased that Phoebe was listed as the ideal theoretical host for the Drift server, making her brain the database for fully autonomous military operations.
A term used to qualify experimented humans created in The Labs.
