Two die chuck

The C3 was originally supplied with two chucks, a three jaw Cushman made in the USA and a three inch two die chuck intended to hold round bars and drills up to one inch diameter.   This one was presumably supplied complete with it's backplate for screwing onto the headstock mandrel. Smaller sizes of these were available and are more often found fitted with a Morse taper
