TMAS 01 Imprimatur

I based my work on an aspect that immediately struck me while reading: gathering means preparing food together. It’s an attitude we’ve also adopted throughout our productions. During all rehearsals with the bands or the other productions, we always made time to eat together. The only difference was that it was always us who took the initiative.

I also added a kind of logo-like drawing. Something that represents the linking together. In the case of this group of authors, even across time and space (after all, they also travel to the moons of a few planets). I did not mention Mars. I already struggled to add a red tomato. Or you could also see it as an apple. This logo is adapted from something I saw earlier. And that blue, of course, represents our lonely pale blue planet by Carl Sagan.

Of course, books also had to be included, because it is about stories and history.

Ik heb mij gebaseerd op een aspect dat mij bij het lezen onmiddellijk was opgevallen: samenkomen is samen eten klaarmaken. Het is een houding wij zelf ook heel ons leven hebben gehanteerd bij onze producties. Tijdens alle repetities met de bands of de andere producties zorgden we steeds voor een moment om samen te eten. Het enige verschil was, dat het altijd wij waren die ervoor zorgden.

Verder heb ik een soort logo-achtige tekening toegevoegd. Iets dat staat voor aan elkaar linken. In het geval van deze groep auteurs zelfs over tijd en ruimte heen (ten slotte gaan ze ook op reis naar de manen van een paar planeten). Over Mars spreken we niet. Ik had al moeite om een rode tomaat toe te voegen. Of je kunt het ook zien als een appel. Deze logo is wel aangepast op iets wat ik eerder zag. En dat blauw staat uiteraard voor onze lonely pale blue planet van Carl Sagan.

Boeken moesten er natuurlijk ook bij komen, omdat het over verhalen in geschiedenis gaat.

Baseei o trabalho num aspecto que me chamou imediatamente a atenção durante a leitura: reunir significa preparar comida colectivamente. É uma atitude que também adotamos em todas as nossas produções. Durante todos os ensaios com as bandas ou nas outras produções, sempre reservávamos um tempo para comer juntos. A única diferença era que éramos nós a tomar a iniciativa.

Adicionei uma espécie de logotipo no desenho. Algo que representa o estar juntos e conectados. No caso deste grupo de autores, mesmo através do tempo e do espaço (afinal, eles também viajam para as luas de alguns planetas). Não mencionei Marte. Já tive dificuldade em adicionar um tomate vermelho. Ou sabe-se lá, também podes imaginar que é uma maçã. Este logotipo é uma adaptação de algo que vi antes. E esse azul, claro, representa o nosso pálido planeta azul e solitário de Carl Sagan.

Claro que tinha que incluir livros, porque trata-se de histórias acerca da história.
