TMAS 00 Little Guide for absent minded people and Choice of Font

I specifically looked for a font that was a bit futuristic (because ultimately everything is collected in the distant future...). Furthermore, the letters aren’t completely formed. Because compiling a history from files and archives is always incomplete. There are always holes in the argument. In other words, it’s always a story. With small and large omissions, right?

I think it’s immediately clear. Clocks from all eras to something “futuristic” that shows the time on the planets and even Jupiter’s moons?

I deliberately used coloured pencils to create an image of work in progress. To be able to suggest a certain atmosphere. I’m very happy with my drawn eraser. It’s so realistic, isn’t it?

I have also consciously chosen unfinished work and drawn a copy that is not one of the last ignarometric matrices: even the guide is still searching. We don’t assume everything will stop after the book, do we?

MAS 00 Kleine Gids voor Verstrooiden en letterfont keuze

Ik heb speciaal een font gezocht dat een beetje futuristisch is (want uiteindelijk wordt alles verzameld in een verre toekomst…). Verder zijn de letters niet helemaal gevormd. Omdat een geschiedenis samenstellen vanuit dossiers en archieven altijd onvolledig is. Er zitten altijd gaten in het betoog. Het is met andere woorden altijd een verhaal. Met kleine en grote omissies, niet?

De kaft voor de Kleine Gids. 

Ik denk dat het meteen duidelijk zal zijn. Uurwerken van alle tijden tot iets ‘futuristisch’ waar je de tijd op de planeten kunt op aflezen en ook op de manen van Jupiter?

Ik heb bewust kleurpotloden gebruikt om een soort work in progress sfeertje te kunnen suggereren. Ik ben heel content van mijn getekende gom. Precies echt hé? 

Ik heb ook bewust nog fouten getekend en niet één van de laatste ignarometrische matrixen nagetekend: ook de gids is nog steeds zoekende. We gaan er niet van uit dat alles ophoudt na het boek, hé?

Procurei especificamente uma fonte que fosse um pouco futurista (porque, no fim das contas, tudo é reunido num futuro distante para nós...). Além disso, as letras não estão completamente formadas. Porque compilar a História e as histórias a partir de arquivos e documentos disponíveis é sempre… incompleto. Sempre há falhas no argumento. Com outras palavras, é sempre uma história. Com pequenas e grandes omissões, certo?

Eu penso que fica imediatamente claro. Relógios de todas as Eras um nada “futurista” que marcam as horas nos planetas e até nas luas de Júpiter?

Usei deliberadamente lápis de cor para criar uma imagem de trabalho em andamento. Para sugerir uma certa atmosfera. Estou muito feliz com a minha borracha desenhada. É muito realista, não é?

Também escolhi conscientemente mostrar o trabalho inacabado e desenhei uma cópia que não é uma das últimas matrizes ignarométricas: até o Guia ainda está a investigar. Não presumimos que tudo vai parar depois desse livro, não é?
