Two Attempts Available
You can only take each exam once per semester and a total of two times.
Stable Internet Required
Establish a stable and strong internet connection before starting an exam.

If you pass all three exams and are awarded 12 total credits, you may qualify for an EIL certificate that can count toward a professional studies degree or elective credit for a different degree. If you are awarded less than 12 credits they can count as elective credits.

Advisors should not give information to the student regarding testing. We do not have information on how to take the tests. We only have information on who to contact if they have already taken the tests.
If you have already completed the EIL tests, you will need to email onlineprograms@byui.edu with any questions and include an indication that you have completed the EIL tests.
Any questions about taking the required tests should be directed to BYU-Idaho.
