BYU-PATHWAY WORLDWIDE
We are so excited to work with you to assist students around the world in their efforts to gain a higher education.
As Support Agents, you will assist students as they plan, organize and register for their courses at BYU-Pathway Worldwide. Depending on the team you belong to, you will receive specialized training related to the work you will be doing.
You will come in contact with potential and current students who need your help to find answers to their questions and solutions to errors. Our goal is to help students in a kind and professional manner and to give them the tools they need to become self sufficient in their education.
Through a series of lessons, you will learn more about the tools available to students, as well as additional tools you will use as an agent.
As you watch this video, pay attention to the way BYU-Pathway is designed. From its gospel-centered curriculum to the certificate first approach, BYU-Pathway was made to help students succeed. One of the defining characteristics of BYU-Pathway Worldwide is to minister to the one, just as the Savoir did. As we help our students we want to make sure that we provide service that is individual and personalized to the student and their circumstances. Approach their questions with understanding as many of these students have not participated in any form of higher education. There have been many instances where support agents have made a large difference in the lives of those that they are helping and we know that you can too.
“The Lord has put BYU-Pathway on the earth to open up those opportunities for our brothers and sisters who have been educationally invisible for a long time. Many of them fear they cannot do the work of higher education. Many of them see the cost of education as a huge barrier. Many of them have been told all of their lives that education and learning is not for them. Many of them have believed that false doctrine, until now.”
