Staff Reports

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) employs a permanent staff of civil servants, who are tasked by Trustees with researching subjects of interest to the Board. Their research is published in the form of a staff report, which often includes recommendations for policy action. In turn, these reports may be accepted - wholeheartedly, or with reservations or alterations - or rejected; most often, they are accepted, and "recommended" at committee meetings to the Board, where the report and any accompanying action is voted upon. Much of the work of the trustee revolves around commissioning and receiving staff reports, which ultimately shape TDSB policy.

The reports in this section are organized by date of publication. Also included are reports from the Toronto Lands Corporation, a subsidiary of the TDSB tasked with handling Board property.
