Oakwood BIA Revitalized | Feb 6, 2018
The Oakwood Village BIA met on January 29th 2018 to welcome six new members. Starting a wonderful new chapter in the development of the Oakwood strip. New members include Mark Zwicker, local architect, Nirmala Shettigar Principal Oakwood Montessori School, Suzy Batista- Barros, Casa Avril Restaurant, Carol Tannis, Oakwood Dental, Paulette Direnzo, property owner, and Mauricio Jimenez local photographer . A new Executive was elected, with Jeff Peters as Chair, Anne Sorrenti as Vice Chair, Sarah Lockett as Secretary, and Mauricio Jimenez as Treasurer. The board and the new Executive look forward to bringing new life to the area. Members of the business community are welcome to join a variety of committees to launch the revitalization strategy.
The BIA meets the last Monday of each month at the Oakwood Library ... contact the Chair Jeff Peters or the Secretary Sarah Lockett if you would like to support this new initiative and join a committee.
