OVERVIEW-
Cinnarizine is a specific calcium channel blocker that mainly works on the central vestibular system to interfere with the signal transmission between vestibular apparatus of the inner ear and the vomiting centre of the hypothalamus. Cinnarizine could be also viewed as a nootropic drug because of its vasorelaxating abilities (due to calcium channel blockage), which happen mostly in brain. Combination use of cinnarizine with other nootropics, such as piracetam resulted in increased effect of boosting brain oxygen supply.
USES-
Cinnarizine is an antihistamine that stops you feeling or being sick (nausea or vomiting). It works by stopping the effects of histamine in your brain to reduce the symptoms of travel sickness (motion sickness). It also helps to improve blood flow in the inner ear. This lowers the dizziness and sickness you can get from vertigo, tinnitus and Ménière's disease.
Cinnarizine is known as a drowsy (sedating) antihistamine, so it's more likely to make you feel sleepy than other antihistamines.
It also comes mixed with dimenhydrinate (another antihistamine) to help vertigo.
Cinnarizine comes as pills. It is offered on prescription, or to buy in pharmacies

DIRECTION OF USE-
