USE OF PHENYLEPHRINE AND CHLORPHENIRAMINE MALEATE

 Phenylephrine and chlorpheniramine maleate are used to treat common cold symptoms. It eases symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and throat or nose itching.

How Phenylephrine + Chlorpheniramine Maleate Works:

Sneezing, watery eyes, and runny nose are symptoms of allergies that are relieved by chlorpheniramine Maleate, an antiallergic. A decongestant called phenylephrine constricts the tiny blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion and stuffiness.

 Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have any allergies before taking chlorpheniramine, including to dexchlorpheniramine. Inactive chemicals in this product have the potential to trigger allergic reactions or other issues. For further information, consult your pharmacist. Inform your doctor or pharmacist about all of your medical history before taking this medication, with particular attention to any history of: respiratory issues (e.g., asthma, emphysema), glaucoma, heart issues, high blood pressure, liver disease, seizures, stomach/intestinal issues (e.g., ulcers, blockage), hyperactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism), difficulty urinating (e.g., due to enlarged prostate). This medication may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. Both marijuana (cannabis) and alcohol can exacerbate your drowsiness or vertigo. Until you can do so safely, avoid operating machinery, driving, or doing anything else that requires focus or sharp vision. Don't drink too much alcohol. See your physician if you use cannabis, also known as marijuana. When getting out of a sitting or lying posture, take it gently to reduce vertigo and lightheadedness. Products that are liquid may contain alcohol, sugar, or aspartame. If you have liver illness, diabetes, alcoholism, phenylketonuria (PKU), or any other condition that necessitates you to restrict or avoid these chemicals in your diet, you should proceed with caution. Consult your physician or pharmacist about the safe use of this product.
