Diarrhea is treated with Loperamide Patients experiencing dysentery (bloody diarrhea) shouldn't use it. DIRECTION FOR USE OF   OF LOPERAMIDE-

Use loperamide exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. The loperamide chewable tablet must be chewed before swallowing.

Shake the oral suspension (liquid) before you measure a dose.
