Kary O'Brien

Kary O’Brien is the STEAM teacher at Dean Petersen Elementary School and loves to teach in the garden because she had a garden growing up. When she was a child, her mom would always check the garden first if she couldn't find her. Ms. O’Brien has been teaching for 26 years and loves her profession because she can be a scientist, mathematician, chef, storyteller, artist, and so many other things all while educating children. She inspires her students by helping them learn more about their interests and sharing her passion for STEAM.
