The Natural Health Ministries Education Center (NHMEC) provides a structured educational pathway for students seeking to advance their knowledge and professional development in faith-centered wellness education.
The journey begins by successfully completing an NHMEC course or program. Students completing individual courses receive a Certificate of Completion, while those completing designated diploma programs receive a Diploma of Completion recognizing their educational achievement.
After completing the required coursework, graduates may choose to apply for participation in the NHMEC Professional Registry Program. Upon approval and satisfaction of registry requirements, practitioners may be awarded an NHMEC professional designation such as RHCH (Registered Holistic Christian Herbalist), RFH (Registered Family Herbalist), RCH (Registered Community Herbalist), CHP (Custom Herbalist Practitioner), or other approved registry credentials.
Practitioners seeking additional professional recognition may then apply independently for certification through the International Compliance Assurance of Holistic Practitioners (ICAHP), subject to ICAHP's current eligibility requirements, policies, and approval process.
Following ICAHP certification, practitioners may be eligible to apply for professional liability insurance through insurance providers that recognize ICAHP certifications, subject to the provider's underwriting requirements, terms, conditions, and approval.
This pathway allows students to progress from education, to registry recognition, to professional certification, and ultimately to obtaining professional insurance coverage while maintaining ethical standards, continuing education, and professional accountability.
