Founder & Director — Natural Health Ministries Education Center
“NHMEC was created to be more than a quick certification program. It was built to provide structure, integrity, and spiritual grounding to those called to serve in natural health. My desire is to equip students not just with knowledge — but with wisdom, discernment, and responsibility.”
— Min. Penny Lane Whittemore
Min. Penny Lane Whittemore is a faith-centered wellness educator, herbalist, ministry leader, and community wellness advocate dedicated to equipping individuals and families in holistic stewardship of health through biblical principles, natural wellness education, and responsible herbal support.
Her work integrates faith, herbal stewardship, nutrition, ministry, and whole-person wellness education to support the body, soul, and spirit through practical and accessible learning.
With more than 30 years of study, experience, ministry service, and community involvement, Min. Whittemore has devoted her life to helping others understand wellness through a lens of stewardship, compassion, discernment, and faith.
Founded in 2006, the Natural Health Ministries Education Center began as a small wellness clinic operating from a converted garage bay.
What started as a simple outreach effort eventually expanded into community wellness education, church support initiatives, herbal stewardship teaching, street outreach, homeschool education, wellness advocacy, and pop-up wellness clinics serving local communities.
Over time, NHMEC developed into a structured educational institution and online learning community designed to equip students in herbal wellness education, responsible support practices, and faith-centered wellness stewardship.
This journey reflects a lifelong calling to serve others through compassion, ministry, education, and practical wellness support.
Min. Whittemore brings together decades of education, certifications, ministry experience, wellness training, and practical community work from multiple disciplines within natural health and holistic wellness education.
