These are the functional movements that we teach in Wellness 2. We modify all movements for the ability levels and mobility restrictions of our students.
Students will develop a SMART goal of their choice. This goal will be a guide to help students stay on track. Then, they create daily workouts to work towards these goals. Students have complete control in their daily workout and choose what they want to work towards. This personalized approach helps motivate students and keep them more engaged in class.
Students use the Cronometer App to track their daily nutrition for an allotted amount of time. They then analyze their nutrient intake and students will get a better understanding of why this is important in their daily lives.
