I've been teaching, coaching, and leading for 26 years (kindergarten through collegiate) specializing in Physical Education and Health Education. I've taught courses in exercise physiology, anatomy & physiology, strength & conditioning and fitness for life. I'm a lifelong learner and passionate about how exercise affects the brain and learning. I'm proud to have been a school leader at KMS, being awarded the 2015-16 Let's Move Active Schools National Recognition Award. We were only one of two schools in MA to receive this distinction. I was nominated to serve on our State professional board (2016-19) MAHPERD Vice President for Physical Education. I was selected to serve on the DESE review board (2018-19) to update the Comprehensive Health and Physical Education Framework, which was recently passed in Sept 2023.
