Treasure Trail Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Treasure Trail is developed by Nathan Edkin ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how Treasure Trail handles your information. In short: Treasure Trail runs entirely on your device, and we do not collect your data.
Information we collect
None. Treasure Trail has no account system and no server operated by us. Your hunts, the hunter names you type and any clues you write are stored only on your device.
Information we do NOT collect
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, health data, advertising identifiers or usage analytics. Treasure Trail makes no network requests other than Apple's in-app purchase system, does not track you across other apps or websites and contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Purchases
Treasure Trail offers one optional, one-time in-app purchase (Treasure Trail Pro). Apple processes the payment; we never receive your payment details.
Data retention and your control
Everything Treasure Trail saves stays on your device. Clue-card PDFs you share are copies you choose to send. Deleting the app removes all of its data.
Children
Treasure Trail is a general-audience app for parents and other grown-ups who set up hunts for children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children, including any names you type into a hunt.
Permissions, read aloud and on-device AI
Treasure Trail asks for no permissions. Hunter names, hunts and any clues you write are saved only on your device. Read aloud uses your iPhone's built-in speech voice, on the device. If Apple Intelligence is available, clues for your own hiding spots are written by Apple's on-device model; nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
