Privacy Policy for Model Citizens

Model Citizens ("the game") is a single-player idle game published by Nathan Edkin. This policy explains what the game does and does not do with your information.
Information we collect: none directly.
Model Citizens has no account, no login and no sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos, and we do not run our own analytics or servers. The only data handling is by Apple and by our advertising partner, described below.
On-device data.
Your lab progress, hardware, trained models, products, research, Chips and settings are stored only on your device. This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Deleting the game removes it.
Purchases.
In-app purchases (Chip packs, the Starter Pack, Remove Ads, Permanent 2x and the VIP Lab Pass subscription) are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment information. "Restore Purchases" uses your Apple Account through Apple's servers. You can manage or cancel the VIP Lab Pass in your Apple Account subscription settings.
Advertising.
The game shows optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob; you choose when to watch one. There are no banner or interstitial ads. To serve ads, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier and basic device and usage information. Where required, Google's consent form appears first, then the game asks for your permission ("App Tracking Transparency"); if you decline, AdMob serves only non-personalized ads and the game plays exactly the same. You can change your ad choices anytime under Ad Privacy Choices in Settings. Buying Remove Ads or the VIP Lab Pass gives you ad rewards without watching videos. AdMob's data handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We do not receive or store any of this data.
Game Center and notifications.
Model Citizens does not use Game Center and does not send notifications, so nothing is shared for these features.
Children.
The game is not directed at children under 13 and is not in the Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third parties.
Apple (App Store purchases) and Google AdMob (ads and the consent form shown where required) are the only third parties involved.
Changes.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
