Gridwell — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
Gridwell is developed by Nathan Edkin ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how Gridwell handles your information. In short: Gridwell runs entirely on your device, and we do not collect your data.
1. Information we collect
None on our servers. Gridwell has no account system and no backend server operated by us. Your settings and puzzle progress are stored only on your device.
2. Information we do NOT collect
We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
3. Purchases
Gridwell offers a single one-time in-app purchase that permanently unlocks premium features. There is no subscription. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store using Apple's in-app purchase system (StoreKit). We do not operate our own server and do not use any third-party purchase, payment, or analytics service. Apple processes your payment and provides Gridwell with a signed confirmation of the purchase, which is stored only on your device to unlock the feature and to restore it if you reinstall the app. We never receive or store your payment details. Apple's handling of your information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Data retention and your control
Because Gridwell stores its data only on your device, you remain in full control. Your settings and puzzle progress are saved locally, and deleting the app permanently removes all of its data from your device.
5. Children
Gridwell is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
6. Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
