About This Course

This topic is broken down into three primary components that are seen to be a synthesis of the evolution of design. Aesthetic values and the communication factor are essential components of good design. This course's first component teaches the history of graphic design through the development of style, shape, and implications. The arrangement of information, the major element, and the layout and design process are then introduced to the class. Last but not least, through the study of style, form/structure, and visual communication effect, this subject produces the fundamental knowledge of typography.
