5 Ads per book
$5/Ad/Day
Don't do category ads. Most Big5 does it.
Use Teriary market explained in Blue Ocean strategy to target ads. This might have less competition than targeting works of other authors.
If Ad is not getting traction, don't spend more money on it. Fix the title, description, cover etc so people notice. Once you see results then spend more money on ads.
Improving Amazon ads in a nutshell:
1) When you don’t have enough impressions, it means you need to raise your bids.
2) When you have impressions but no clicks, it means your cover or title isn’t attractive enough.
3) When you have clicks but no sales, it means your very first line on your Amazon listing description is not strong enough. It does not resolve people’s pain points.
4) When you have sales but at a very high acos, it means you need to add negative keywords such as “green underwear”, remove keywords that have over 20 clicks but no sale, remove overly generic keywords such as “BOOKS”, raise bids on your strong keywords, lower bids on your weaker keywords and add tonnes of random 25 cents, 35cents and 45 cents auto ads for those low acos sales - the goal is to eventually move the converting keywords into an EXACT ad.
If you can master the above, you win the self-publishing game. Hope this helps!
