Navigating modcore EM: Top Bar Overview

You'll find the navigation bar at the top of modcore EM. The key elements are the icons on the right side, each providing quick access to important features:

• Manage Profiles: Click this icon to create or manage your profiles. Learn more about the profiles feature here.

• Manage Groups: Use this icon to create or manage your groups. Find more information about the groups feature here.

• Cloud Sync: Manage Cloud Sync settings for modcore Extension Manager. Learn more about Cloud Sync.

• Automation Rules: Create automation rules for your extensions. Learn more about Automation Rules.

• More: Opens a modal that provides quick links to help, feedback, reporting bugs, and more.

Efficiently Locating Extensions: Search and Filter Options

To quickly and effectively find the extensions you need, use the powerful search and filter options.

You can search for extensions by their name, description, or ID.

In addition, several filter options are available to help you narrow down your results:

1. Filter by Type:

   • Extensions

   • Themes

   • Apps

2. Filter by Status:

   • All Statuses

   • Enabled

   • Disabled

3. Find by Groups:

   • All groups

   • Your created groups (Learn more about the groups feature here).

Profiles: Tailor Your Extension Setup

Profiles offer a powerful way to quickly switch between different sets of enabled and disabled extensions, optimizing your environment for specific tasks or workflows. For instance, you can create profiles like "Work," "Personal," or "Gaming" to instantly adapt your extension setup.

This feature is particularly valuable when you need to rapidly adjust your extension configuration.

The following functionalities are available within the Profiles feature:

• Creating Profiles: Establish new custom profiles.

• Creating a Profile from Current State: Save your current extension configuration as a new profile.

• Applying a Profile: Instantly switch to a previously saved extension setup.

• Duplicating a Profile: Create a copy of an existing profile.

• Deleting a Profile: Remove an unwanted profile.

• Configuring a Profile: Customize the extensions included in a profile, assign a global keyboard shortcut, and rename the profile.

Groups: Organize Your Extensions

Groups provide a powerful way to organize your extensions by categorizing them. Each extension can belong to only one group, ensuring clear and structured management.

The following functionalities are available within the Groups feature:

• Create Groups: Establish new custom extension categories.

• Activate a Group: Enable all extensions within a specific group.

• Deactivate a Group: Disable all extensions within a specific group.

• Delete a Group: Remove an unwanted group.

• Ungroup All Extensions: Remove all extensions from their assigned groups.

• View Number of Extensions in a Group: See a count of extensions within each group.

• Configure an group: Rename an existing group, assign a global keyboard shortcut, change the action of what the keyboard shortcut should do.

Quick Actions Menu

Use the Quick Actions menu by right-clicking on an extension in the list.

This opens the Quick Actions menu. The Quick Actions menu displays the following details about the extension:

• Extension name

• Extension version

• Extension ID

• Which groups or profiles the extension belongs to (if any)

• View the extension's details (opens the details page, learn more about the details page here...)

• Option to add this extension to a group or profile, or remove it from all groups and profiles.

• Uninstall the extension

The Quick Actions menu can be closed by clicking outside the Quick Actions menu once.
