An important message from modcore regarding the modcore Extension Manager
⚠️ This page is still under construction. We’re working on creating the best possible documentation for this feature — check back soon!
Important: Creating a profile card in the modcore Extension Manager is not the same as creating an account. It’s not a user account, but rather a feature that allows us to personalize your experience — for example, by showing your chosen name or profile picture throughout the modcore Extension Manager.
All information is stored locally on your device and is never sent to any server.
Profile cards are entirely optional, and you don’t need to create one to use the modcore Extension Manager. However, some features may not be available without a profile card. You can also reset your profile card at any time.
Notes are stored locally in your browser and are linked to the corresponding extension.
Please be aware that notes are not synchronized with the modcore Cloud because they are not encrypted, and you may store sensitive information in them.
Anyone with access to your device or local storage may be able to view, edit, or delete your notes. Keep this in mind when adding sensitive details.
Extension Notes are only available if you have created a Profile Card.
If no Profile Card exists, you will not be able to use Extension Notes.
Click your Profile Card in the top-right corner.
In the profile menu, select “Extension Notes.”
Find the extension you want to create a note for and click its icon or name.
Click “Add New Notes.”
Fill out the required fields (note title).
The note content can be left empty if you prefer.
Done!
Important: Notes have no content limits—you can write as much as you want.
However, very large notes may negatively affect performance and can reach Chrome’s storage limit for the modcore Extension Manager.
Click your Profile Card in the top-right corner.
In the profile menu, select “Extension Notes.”
Find the extension you want to manage notes for and click its icon or name.
You now have two ways to manage notes:
Locate the note you want to manage and choose one of the following:
Pin – pins the note to the top of the list
View – opens the note
Edit – allows you to change the note
Delete – removes the note permanently
Click “Select Notes.”
Choose multiple notes.
Click “Delete Selected” to remove all selected notes
or “Cancel Selection” to exit bulk selection mode.
Badges are stored locally on your device and are not synchronized with the modcore Cloud.
Badges are only available once you have created a Profile Card.
If no Profile Card exists, the Badges feature will not be accessible.
Click your Profile Card in the top-right corner.
In the profile menu, select “Badges.”
View badges that are unlocked or still locked.
Badges displayed in full color are unlocked.
Badges that appear greyed out have not yet been unlocked.
The following badges are currently available:
Apprentice – Install 5 extensions
Initiate – Install 10 extensions
Enabler – Enable 10 extensions
Restrainer – Disable 10 extensions
Pioneer – Create your Profile Card
You only need to meet each requirement once to unlock a badge.
Once earned, badges are permanently saved and will not be removed if you later fall below the required threshold (for example, uninstalling extensions).
You will be notified once all available badges have been earned.
Badges will be removed if you reset your Profile Card.
They may also be removed after certain updates, which is why we strongly recommend creating a backup.
modcore reserves the right to add, remove, or modify badges at any time.
Statistics are stored locally on your device and are not synchronized with the modcore Cloud.
No data is sent to third parties or external servers.
Stats are only available once you have created a Profile Card.
If no Profile Card exists, statistics cannot be viewed.
Click your Profile Card in the top-right corner.
In the profile menu, select “Stats.”
View all recorded activity that modcore Extension Manager has saved for you.
Statistics are not updated in real time. They refresh only when you reload the page or repeat the “View Stats” step.
The following statistics are currently available:
Installed Extensions (count only, no names)
Enabled Extensions (count only, no names)
Disabled Extensions (count only, no names)
Unlocked Badges (count only, no names)
First Use (of the Profile Card Feature)
Your initial use of modcore Extension Manager before creating a Profile Card is not counted.
This statistic starts from the moment you create your first Profile Card and is removed if the Profile Card is reset.
The day, month, and year are displayed.
Current Streak
Similar to “First Use,” this statistic is tracked only after your first Profile Card is created.
The streak is reset if:
You reset your Profile Card, or
You do not use modcore Extension Manager on a given day.
You know the streak system 😉
Since statistics are stored locally, you may be able to modify some of this data on your device.
Profile Cards operate entirely on your device, meaning modcore cannot lock or restrict them.
Feel free to customize your statistics in a way that best suits your preferences.
Quick Actions allow you to manage your extensions quickly and efficiently, without navigating through multiple menus or settings.
Quick Actions are only available once you have created a Profile Card.
