modcore Extension Manager respects your privacy and is designed to provide advanced functionality without tracking your data. The following permissions are used to enable specific features, and nothing is tracked by modcore or shared with third parties.
storage: Used for saving and retrieving extension data such as user settings.
tabs: Required for the Automation Rules feature. Specifically, when you create a rule with the condition "When a specific URL is visited", this permission allows modcore to detect the URL in the browser to trigger the rule.
alarms: Used for scheduling tasks in the Automation Rules and Cloud Sync features. For Automation Rules, it enables triggers like "When a specific time is met". For Cloud Sync, it allows periodic syncing of your data according to your chosen schedule.
management: Enables management of designs, extensions, and apps—this is core functionality of modcore Extension Manager, allowing you to enable, disable, or organize your extensions efficiently.
modcore Extension Manager does not track your browsing activity, extensions, or personal data. All actions are performed locally in your browser. Third-party visibility, such as Google Chrome’s internal reporting, is outside modcore’s control.
We believe in full transparency. These permissions are only requested to provide the features you choose to use, nothing more.
