If you see an “An Error Occurred” message in the modcore Extension Manager, it means something went wrong during an operation. This is a general error message that can appear for various reasons when a specific cause can’t be identified immediately.

Common causes include:

• Temporary server or network issues.
  
  

• Bugs or unexpected conditions in the extension or its connected services.
  
  

• Outdated cache or corrupted local data.
  
  

• Conflicts with add-ons, themes, or browser-level settings.
  
  

• Rate limiting or temporary service restrictions.
  
  

Step 1: Basic Troubleshooting

1. Check that your internet connection is active and stable.
