Starter: Use the Gapminder website to gather the key population & development data for Bangladesh for 2021
Life Expectancy
GDP PPP
Literacy Rates
Crude Birth Rate
Crude Death Rate.
Do this by going to the GapMinder website, selecting 'Bangladesh' and then changing the information in the axis to the categories listed above, to find out the correct data.
List it in your books.
What picture emerges? Does this fit with your preconceptions of the country?
Task 2 - Open the worksheet and begin working through the tasks. When prompted to refer to the docuentary - click on the 'Don't Panic documentary' and start at approximately 4.10minutes. Use the information you watch to complete the worksheet. The links that you need to GapMinder are mostly embedded on the worksheet or you can just open the Gapminder Data Tools Webpage.
Complete as much of this worksheet as you can this lesson, pausing whenever you need to, to fill in the correct sections. I will be checking to see your progress next lesson, and we will view the remainder next week.
