In the event that an employee missed a punch, or allocated their hours to the wrong site, you may need to issue a correction within DayForce. It's important that your employees communicate any missed or erroneous punches to you as soon as possible for correction.
Login to your DayForce account as "Manager".
Use the "Load" dropdown to change sites as needed until you locate the employee in question.
Select the day that needs to be corrected. If there were already hours worked on this day, you will see a pencil icon which you may click to edit the punches/shift.
From here you can change the site that the hours should be allocated to, the time on each punch, etc.
If you need to add a new shift altogether for an employee, navigate to the appropriate day on that employee's timesheet.
You will see a chain link icon which you can click to add a shift.
From here you can select the appropriate store, start time & end time.
Use the plus sign icon located to the right of the start/end times to add in a Meal break.
If you're adding in a non-work shift, such as Sick or Vacation time, navigate to the appropriate day on that employee's timesheet.
Instead of clicking on the chain link icon, click the dropdown arrow right next to the chain link.
Select "Add New Pay Adjustments"
You can then select the type of adjustment (Sick, Vacation, Bereavement, etc) and add in the time
Ensure you click "Save" at the top left when finished.
