這部紀錄片圍繞女導演自己與女兒的故事。導演遠赴台灣進修電影碩士學位第一年時，卻意外懷孕。當時非常徬徨，不知如何向家人交代，但在懷孕期間沒有放棄學業，繼續追尋電影這個夢想。女兒出世後，更成為了導演媽媽每個期末作品裏的小演員，更不知不覺地影響著這位女導演的創作，作品更多地關注女性懷孕、婚姻問題、以及女性對生產前後的恐懼。
This documentary is centred on the relationship between a film director and her daughter, born when the filmmaker moved to Taiwan, during the first year of college. While fearing breaking the news to her family, the young mother did not give up on her film studies, even as the baby girl grew. Gradually, the director’s work began shifting, resulting in a few short films focusing on subjects like pregnancy, marriage, and women’s anxieties before childbirth.

姚露欣 IO Lou Ian
姚露欣現修讀台灣藝術大學電影學系碩士，澳門理工綜合平面設計多媒體系畢業。大學時期開始拍攝劇情短片，2013年參與港澳獨立電影《無花果》劇情長片之製作、擔任副導演與美術指導。曾憑《冬菇姐姐》獲得『MIFVF澳門製造2012』評審推介獎，憑《牛奶計劃》獲得《澳門國際電影及錄像展2016》『MIFVF澳門製造2016』“評審大獎”，同時入圍第十屆西寧FIRST青年電影展及提名最佳短片，影片《媽媽》入圍第十二屆西寧FIRST青年電影展及提名最佳短片。
Having studied at the Department of Film Science at Taiwan’s University of Arts, Io Lou Ian also graduated from the School of Design (Multimedia) at the Macao Polytechnic Institute. In college she directed three short films, The Last Happiness, Neighbour and Miss Mushroom. The latter work won the Special Jury Award at the Macao International Film and Video Festival in 2012. Her latest short film, Give Music a Hug, was selected for the 11th International Student Film Festival at Beijing’s Film Academy.
