Identifying and finding new tools and resources can be a challenge when one does not fully understand the "why" and purpose behind it. As an educational leader, I believe in guiding and facilitating teachers and campus leaders, who are my "students", in the proper exploration, evaluation, curation, and adoption of digital resources and learning tools based on the diverse needs of their students. This includes promoting and modeling digital literacy and digital citizenship to ensure appropriate use of technology. In doing so, meaningful connections of digital tools and resources with pedagogy, content, and best practices provide deeper understanding on the use of digital tools and resources to support future-ready skills.
