As Director of Active Learning in El Paso ISD, I have developed a keen passion in empowering teachers and campus leaders, who are my "students", to shape, advance and accelerate a shared vision that keeps the value of collaboration, digital learning, digital citizenship, positive community involvement, autonomous learning through voice and choice, fluency in educational and technology policy, competency in accomplishing goals, and reflection and growth-mindset on learning. For this reason, the power of engaging with educational stakeholders can provide leverage and higher growth in one's professional development, knowledge, and specialization.
