Citizen 3a

As digital citizens in today's world, it is important to develop learners with the necessary experiences to make positive and socially responsible contributions to society, including having empathetic behavior online that leads to building meaningful relationships in different communities.

As teachers and campus leaders are my "students", the artifacts for Citizen 3a, Citizen 3b, Citizen 3c, and Citizen 3d standards demonstrate the presentation used on digital citizenship. This includes resources and materials that my students or learners can use to deepen their understanding of the importance of digital citizenship, particularly in developing students:

• to be empathetic and socially responsible,
• to promote and maintain positive behaviors in the online and digital world,
• to become courageous in their curiosity and be critical in using online resources, and
• to practice safe, ethical, and legal use of intellectual property.
