My role with this experience was a participant of the leadership team.

As a future principal, I learned that it is crucial to analyze the data from many veiw points. As well as measure the action steps of intervention that were planned to determine if it is effective or not. Analyzing data as a team of teachers, allows the principal to promote other teachers expertise in the proccess of planning and reflecting.
I have included a data analysis around Reading, Math and Science MCA scores, as well as failing grades for each tirmester.
My role in this experience was to analyze District 196 middle school data by documenting my noticing and wonderings. Lastly, I was to choose which middle schools would I recommend as a wrap-around school for the 2018-19 school year. This process mimics the work principals and district leaders did in reflection to their continuous improvement plan.

As a future principal, I learned that there are so many things you can learn from a data analysis. These numbers represent students, issues and strengths that all need to be accounted for.
I have included a confirmation email from District 196 Literacy Specialist confirming my role as a facilitator for new to district teacher training around literacy. I have also included an overview of the school years professional learning classses.
My role in this experience was a facilitator and leader of learning for intermediate teachers.

As a future principal, I learned it is important for me to use and study the model and resources that the district is invested in inorder to provide authentic learning for new staff. I was facilitating as an expert and someone who is invested in the process of the literacy collaborative. Sessions across the year are designed to give participants an opportunity to build a cohort of collegial support with other new to district teachers.
