I have included a quick snapshot of different class sections with the amount of students enrolled compared to the availability.
My role in this expereience was a participant.
It aligns with organizational management competency because I learned to use technology as a management tool.
As a future principal, I learned the importance of using an organizational system (infinite campus) to track student registration and to run a seat report. I also learned that a management system will allow you to see many things: how many students enroll, how many sections, teacher placement, student placement and more. This also allows the principal to make decisions to add classes, drop classes and create a building schedule.
I have included an outline of the afterschool program at Oak Ridge that was given to staff that were participating. I have also included a sample check list given by the district to begin planning the after school program as wel as a timesheet.
My role in this experience was a leader and facilitator.
This experience aligns with organizational management competency because I planned and schedule personal and organizational work, establish procedures to regulate activities and projects, and delegate and empower others at appropriate levels.
As a future principal, I learned that I must stay organized with carrying out plans. I need to keep a check-list of what needs to be done each time to make sure I have covered the essential items. I have also learned that planning anything takes time, so I need to create the time for planning and collaborating with others.
I have included the schedule for each teacher or departments for back to school night breakout sessions. The schedlue includes the location and time for each breakout session.
My role in this experience was a participant and leader. I participated in creation of the schedule. On April 29th, I was a leader facilitating time and location for staff and families.
This aligns with organizational management competency because I demonstrated an understanding of facilities development, planning and management.
As a future principal, I learned that developing and planning should definitelly be done with a team of people. I also learned to establish a room loaction plan ahead of time and keep the same format. This will allow leaders to be more efficient with the time to plan details.
