Two examples of plantimorphs.
Plantimorphs are anthropomorphic versions of certain plants. Plantimorphs are the most common species type besides animals. The history and science behind plantimorphs is very hard to understand. It is believed that some thousand years ago some plants, either were made to or on their own, gained sentience and/or the conscious ability to mimic things around them. This was primarily only land plants and specifically those found near forests. It is believed that all normal plants have some form of sentience to them because of this, not necessarily meaning they are alive but rather in a "dormant" state until something causes them to take a new form. Plantimorphs are able to reproduce like animals do, so it's believed some plants just somehow randomly evolved human-like qualities and then multiplied on their own.
Plantimorphs, much like their animal-hybrid counterparts Plantimals, can live just fine without eating or sleeping. This is because they can still photosynthesize as usual even in anthropomorphic form, and anything they do eat will be photosynthesized out of them and used as energy. For this they need to be very active and out in the sun, and as long as they are in the sun enough, they won't ever have to rest or run out of energy. They still however need to drink water, though bathing can be a good source of this as well without necessarily actually drinking it.
