At school, she at first found it hard to make friends. It wasn't as easy as being a kid in church. It didn't help that very early on Mira went through a traumatizing event because of one of the students she tried to befriend.
Adrian was a classmate of Miras. Adrian took interest in Mira quickly, and while Mira thought he was a bit uncomfortable to be around, she always loved to find more friends. One unfortunate day, Adrian came up to her to confess his feelings for her. He asked her to be his girlfriend. Mira was scared - She had never been in a relationship before this, and Adrian honestly scared her. She decided she would be honest with him, and rejected it but said she'd still stay friends with him. Adrian didn't take this well and immediately argued with her that that wouldn't be fair, and its just leading him on. She eventually got sick of it and yelled, "Well, life isn't fair, Adrian!" Adrian got so mad at this he resorted to attempting to strangle her against a locker. Mira was found just in time to survive and escape decently unscathed, but it mentally scarred her and led to a very bad mental state for a good portion of her high school years. She became scared to make new friends at all, especially with men.
And yet...When she heard the news of the new kid, a young opposum boy whose parents abandoned him... She felt bad for him as everyone avoided him like the plague, and attempted to socialize with him. At first, it was hard but he did open up to her a bit. They slowly became best friends, and she bought him a laptop which he would text her on. Miras friend Larissa ended up becoming his girlfriend, and the three of them became extremely close as a friend group after this.
Mira was a soldier both in the Pynelough/Lycaurica government and Olbania military, working for both individually for 2 years. She served in the Pynelough military at 17-19, then the Olban military at 19-21. Mira also has a tattoo on their back that people who work for the Pynelough government are required to get. At 19, Mira was kicked out of the Pynelough military for helping and defending an Alqati from the police, which she eventually befriended and now knows as Zinnia.
Mira made or attempted to make friends with some of the other soldiers, notably Carmegno. Carmegno had a crush on Mira, but Mira was oblivious to this and treated him as a simple friend. Because of this, Carmegno ended up hating her but obsessing over her at the same time. She also met Calliope, a three-eyed swan, who she is still friends with to this day.
At this point, when she was soon turning 18, Mira had moved out of her parent's home, into a small cabin in the forest. This was because she met a charming seal named Lucy, who she fell in love with as they were both obsessed with nature, gardening, and forests. She and Lucy moved in together, and they started a large garden that Lucy used to sell at the marketplace. But not too long into the relationship, Mira broke up with Lucy, which she told her was for mental health reasons.
New House, New Job, New Pet
After the breakup, Mira decided to move into a new house as the cabin reminded her too much of Lucy. She also decided to become a Love Messenger again, even if she felt the same feelings about the religion, she thought it might be fun as her dad was a messenger there. Additionally, the time Varilynn turned 16, he decided to move into it with her as she didn't wanna live alone but didn't wanna live with their parents.
Bastet
One day, Zinnia came to Miras house to give her a gift - a strange black blob. Mira was incredibly confused on why Zinnia wanted to give her this, but Zinnia left before she could ask questions. She looked at it on the counter, and poked at it. Almost immediately after she poked it, it started moving and...transformed into a cat? Though still confused, Mira immediately started petting and baby-talking it. When Varilynn woke up and noticed this, he started to scream "That is NOT a cat!!!"
Later, he elaborated. "It's a Kosdresheru Shadowshifter. They rarely ever interact with people like that, unless you're chosen...or something." Mira figured the "cat" had chosen her to be its owner, which made her feel lucky considering it was Zinnias gift. Mira thought the creature was adorable, and so did Varilynn, albeit a little creeped out. They figured out the creature could understand what they were saying even if it couldn't speak, so they figured out some things about her by her nodding to questions. Mira named her Bastet, by request of Varilynn.
