A phonebird, more commonly known as phonecrow/crowphone, pigeonphone, cellcrow/cellpigeon, or just phone, is two species of pigeon or crow-based familiars. Phonebirds are the equivalent of real-world phones. These birds can also be "customized" to have colorful patterns on them with animal-friendly paint or it can be embedded into their feathers at birth. They have a bald patch of skin on their stomach that is used as the phones 'screen'.
Phonebirds don't need to charge like real phones, however, they essentially need to charge by being "fed" electricity magic since if they won't the phone screen will not show up due to lack of energy. The bright side of this is that it doesn't take long at all for it to "charge." Phonebirds are very low maintenance, as they basically only live to be used as phones.
Phonebirds don't normally chirp on their own, instead they communicate through the phone, as a notification to check on or feed them, or have a whole profile on a messaging app. However, they do chirp when they start being called (like a phone call) by someone, and the call audio comes out of their mouth. Also, it's an optional choice, but many phonebirds have camera lenses implanted into their eye so the owner can easily take pictures with it.
The symbols on the wings are symbols of Ancient Freyinarian. It translates to the name of its current owner. This is also used for phone numbers - also known as phone essence - in combination with a set of 4 numbers. So, an example of a phone number would be 1234-☪︎◆︎❒︎♓︎.
