Most people in Lycaurica and Lenstruyna in general use cars and carriages for transportation, but some do use animals as their mode of transportation.

A lot of "beasts" (giant quadrupedal creatures) are used as modes of transportation. These beasts are cheaper than cars, but they do take a long time to train.

The most common color of a Vessie
Vessie
Vessie's are strange cat tube-like beast that can shorten and elongate their body. Female vessies usually are about 130-160 cm tall while on all fours, and male vessies are 150-175 cm on all fours. Vessie's can also learn to speak, which makes them a little disliked by some as they are very talkative. Additionally, they can swim for a decently long time. Vessie's can also live up to 15 years if taken care of correctly, but on average only live about 4-7 years. Vessies are prone to arthritis and kidney disease. The box is also considered their body and is sensitive, being very easy to hurt, especially for Vekits (Vessie kittens).
There are two types of Vessies: Mamuno Vessies and Ni'do-Mamuno Vessies. Mamuno's have tails and Ni'do-Mamuno's don't. Additionally, Ni'do-Mamunos can sometimes have spikes on their boxes, while Mamuno's don't.
Mozyle / Horse
These are considered a subspecies of horse. However, they are more often called "mozyles" (Mobile + Zyle), because of the first ever trained and ridden one, named Kin'zyle. They are trained with the antenna on top of their head, when the rider is ready to use them, they stretch it and it springs, which alerts the Mozyle to start walking. They can live up to 20 years, but usually retire at 14. The oldest Mozyle to ever live was Kin'zyle himself, who died at the age of 39.
Behaviors
Meowcken
As meowckens are very rare, they're often more expensive than a car. These animals need 5-year expensive training and a "Meowcken License" to be ridden by anyone. They don't need to have a tack since they can fly, although the rider will need gear to ride a meowcken in the air safely. Meowckens are made to live long (up to 50!) and travel very long distances. It's often that rich people will get these creatures to show off their money and not actually use them. Female meowckens (hens) are usually mixes of brown and tan colors and spots, occasionally white or black. Male meowckens (mewsters) are very vibrant in contrast, with unique patterns and colors.
Meowckens can also molt their feathers. This happens every decade or so. Usually, baby meowckens start as brown or cream-colored, and will eventually molt into either similar brown/cream feathers or a vibrant mix of many different colors depending on their gender.
