Fruitcats
Fruitcats are very rare cats that come from magic cast on normal fruits that turn them into cats. Despite being born as fruits, they're not actually made out of their fruit, they have normal skin and fur.
A lot of fruitcats will have their fruit with 'nya' or 'meow' as their name. This is mostly just a joke that a lot of fruitcats do, or their owner/parent named them that as a joke, and a lot of fruitcats have normal names. Fruitcats are often abandoned by their creators or put into adoption centers as a lot of people consider them "difficult to own." It's also rare for people to treat their adopted fruitcats as kids, rather they treat them as pets or servants. Fruitcats are considered the best species for labor, as they don't need to eat and rarely get tired. Fruitcats get their energy from water and the Sun, so they don't really need to sleep. This makes them great for long-hour jobs where they're in the sun for hours at a time. They however can get hurt and feel tired - which is why they need to be in the sun. Fruitcats also naturally make people feel more energized.
Even though most people treat fruitcats as if they're a new thing, fruitcats have existed for hundreds of years. The fruitcat spell in fact is over two-hundred years old. There are also some iconic fruitcats in history that have done important things for the world.
Fruitcat Magic
Fruitcats, when casted with the magic spell, will get their own magical ability based on their fruit. They can summon vines and the fruit they originally were. For example, Choubi uses his ability to summon cherries for his business, selling the cherries he makes to others.
Trivia
Fruitcats are a little cannibalistic, as they will probably eat the fruit they were/are at some point.
Kind of like alqati, fruitcats age very fast until they're adults and then proceed to age slower once they get older.
When a fruit is cast with the spell at a certain period of its growth, for example, if a strawberry got the fruitcat spell cast on it when it was still a flower, it will stay in that stage even when its a full cat. This means that flower fruitcats exist.
