Med Buddies is a mentorship program that aims to connect underclassmen with upperclassmen mentors to help guide them on their pre-med journey! Mentors and mentees meet twice a month, giving underclassmen the ability to ask any questions they may have, ask for advice, or just socialize with their peers.
Junior and senior mentors get the opportunity to provide guidance to their younger peers while also demonstrating valuable leadership skills. Mentors also get the chance to earn up to 2 service points through meetings with their buddies. Requirements to be a mentor can be found at the bottom of this page.
The journey to medical school is not an easy one, but having a reliable support network can make it much easier! Mentees are able to come to their mentors with any questions they may have, whether that be about classes, professors, or how to study for the MCAT. Additionally, mentees can earn up to 2 social points by meeting with their mentors. There are no requirements to be a mentee!
Mentors and mentees have the opportunity to attend socials just for them! There is one mid-semester social and another end-of-semester social. Attending each social will earn you up to 2 social points.
