This year, AED is introducing a new fundraiser to replace Miles for Medicine: the first annual AED Gala. The Gala is intended to raise funds for our philanthropy, the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Louisiana. You can click here to learn more about our philanthropy. We hope that this Gala is an opportunity not only to raise money, but to dress up, socialize, and have fun! Finger foods and light refreshments will be provided, along with music, a dance space, and a seating area if dancing isn't your thing. Items from our sponsors are going to be raffled off throughout the night, so get dressed up and join us for our first ever AED Gala!
Nolan Laborde Hall in the Lod Cook Hotel
Saturday, April 26th, 7pm-11pm
Events are expensive! The price of your ticket helps to cover the cost of the ballroom, catering, entertainment, and decor. Additional sponsorships and any extra ticket revenue goes directly to the benefit of our philanthropy. For these reasons, it is mandatory for AED members to purchase a ticket in order to be considered an active member for the spring semester. Additionally, all ticket-holders in attendance will be entered into a raffle to be announced at the Gala!
Please note that attendance of the Gala is not necessary, but ticket purchase is!
Click here to purchase your ticket.
Plus-ones are encouraged, but note that all plus-ones must also purchase a ticket!
The attire for the Gala is semi-formal. We encourage you to dress up! Use the Gala as an opportunity to have fun, take pictures, and socialize with your fellow future doctors!
