This Boss Hogg BMX bike represents the first production unit manufactured in Livermore, California, carrying the serial number CR01 and marking the beginning of the company’s Livermore-era manufacturing.
As the very first unit produced in this new facility, the bike stands as a foundational artifact within the history of Boss Manufacturing and Boss Hogg BMX. Early production frames such as this often represent the transition between prototype development and full manufacturing runs, making them particularly significant to collectors and historians of BMX equipment.
The frame was professionally restored by C4 Labs, preserving the structure of the original bike while stabilizing it for long-term display and preservation. The complete build was later assembled by Kyle A. Huffman, ensuring the bike remains presented as a complete example of the first Livermore Boss Hogg produced.
Because it carries the earliest serial number in the Livermore production run, this bike represents the starting point of a new chapter in Boss BMX manufacturing history and stands as one of the most historically important artifacts associated with the brand.
