About Us - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
This document addresses many of the most common questions about Lititz BMX, including its mission, archive, preservation practices, media, and long-term vision. It is not intended to answer every question. If you would like additional information, have historical knowledge to contribute, or believe something should be clarified, please contact Lititz BMX.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. What is Lititz BMX?
Lititz BMX is an independent BMX archive, preservation project, media platform, and developing private museum and vintage-rental experience based in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
The project preserves BMX history through physical artifacts, oral histories, rider and manufacturer profiles, educational resources, historical research, original media, and a continually expanding digital archive.
The goal is not simply to collect or display old bikes. Lititz BMX connects artifacts to the people, places,
decisions, and stories that give them meaning, preserving those connections for riders, families, researchers, and future generations.
2. How did the idea for Lititz BMX begin?
Lititz BMX did not begin as a traditional business plan. It grew from a private collection and the realization that many important BMX artifacts were becoming separated from the stories that made them historically significant.
