South Lake Tahoe BMX – 2015 State Qualifier
South Lake Tahoe BMX is a BMX racing track located in South Lake Tahoe, California, near the Nevada border and within the Sierra Nevada mountain region. The track operates under sanction from USA BMX, the governing body for organized BMX racing in the United States.
In 2015, South Lake Tahoe BMX hosted a USA BMX State Qualifier race as part of the California State Championship Series. State Qualifier events allow riders to earn points toward the California State Championship standings, with riders competing for state rankings and the opportunity to earn state number plates.
Events such as the 2015 State Qualifier brought together riders from across Northern California and neighboring regions to compete on the high-elevation track overlooking the Lake Tahoe basin.
